Built in 2007 and located in Downtown Tempe, Skye 15 Lofts (formerly known as Tempe Urban Living (aka TUL)) consists of 15, vertical, urban living, loft style townhomes, with a very modern twist. Skye 15 was developed by the same team that did Palm Lane Urban Living in midtown Phoenix, a very cool infill project.
The styling at Skye 15 is fresher than a lot of the urban infill loft projects out there and the location is great, just a half mile (easy walk) to Mill Avenue and a mile from Tempe Town Lake, Tempe Center for the Arts and ASU.
Innovative architecture by Ilan Baldinger showcases intelligent floorplans ranging from 1106 to 2760 square feet of light-filled interiors, generous roof-decks, and a sophisticated mix of materials: Euro kitchens, Bosch Appliances, Danze Chrome fixtures, Granite counters, superb detailing. Closets are large, there is adequate parking and the community is gated. One of the cooler features of Skye 15 is that the architect specified yellow and orange concrete panels/sliding. These really add a great modern sexy feel and helps Skye 15 really stand out.
Skye 15 was purchased in mid-2010 by some guys out of Colorado who got a pretty good deal and as a result they were able to reduce prices and sell all the units. Since then several of the condos have sold and prices have appreciated healthily.
