History:
Optima Inc., known for their developments of Optima Camelview Village and Optima Biltmore Towers, acquired the Orchid Tree Apartments in the summer of 2010 for approximately $16 million. The old building was demolished to make way for the current development, originally envisioned as five mid-rise buildings, including four seven-story towers and one five-story terraced building, featuring luxury condo flats similar to those at Optima Camelview Village. Approximately four acres of the site were designated as a common area to enhance the neighborhood’s aesthetics.
