A Short History of Phoenix Urban Living

Downtown Phoenix has enjoyed tremendous growth since the completion of light rail and ASU opening its Downtown Phoenix Campus.

Prior to those two events, there was very little reason to visit downtown Phoenix except to catch a Suns or Diamondback game. But like a flip of a switch once ASU and the rail opened the area exploded with life.

People young and old now enjoy the wide range of restaurants, entertainment, sporting venues, theaters, bars, gyms, art walks and so much more than the area offers.

Favorite urban communities like Portland Place, Summit at Copper Square, Stadium Lofts, Orpheum Lofts, Embassy, McKinley Row, St Croix, en Hance, Artisan Parkview, Portland on the Park, and others offer so very many options for urban living fans.

And like I’ve said before, more urban communities bring more people, which encourages and supports more small businesses which attract more people, and on and on and on. And with ASU in the mix churning more growth the area is just getting better.
